GENERAL FORMAT: To allow efficient
research, the LREP directory is divided
into six (6) systematic categories, descending from more
general estate planning (EP) research information to more
specific, practical information on estate planning. Under
the first category, "GENERAL EP RESEARCH," I have noted some
of the
texts and treatises that have helped me in my research;
I have found that sometimes, no electronic source(s) can
replace a good book. The fourth category, "SPECIFIC EP
TOPICS," links to numerous
topical EP pages. Many estate planning practitioners
will gravitate to the sixth category, "EP PRACTICE TOOLS."
Within that category, I have included
specific memoranda. Some of the
only law (and graduate law) school
outlines that cover estate planning and taxation,
including taxation of trusts and estates (with detailed
examples), may be obtained from the EP PRACTICE TOOLS
category as well. Practitioners may find forms there, too.
Finally, users may view my

note that the new tax act may alter information posted on
